Aston Martin has taken its ultimate grand tourer, the Aston Martin Vanquish, and chopped the top off for this latest Volante model from the British marque. The car’s WH architecture mixes bonded aluminum with carbon fiber to maintain rigidity in the absence of a roof. The designers of the Vanquish Volante have opted for a soft top which folds away in just 14 seconds. Powering this beauty is a V12 engine good for 565bhp and 457 lb-ft of torque and capable of pushing the Volante to 187 mph. As such, the Vanquish Volante will accelerate from 0-62mph in 4.3 seconds (two tenths slower than the Vanquish coupe) All this doesn’t come cheap as the Vanquish Volante Prices start at £199,995, and the first deliveries will hit the UK at the end of 2013.
